Leeds based vehicle tracking company, RAM Tracking, has recorded a positive start to the year with new account wins, plus director Chris McClellan has been selected for inclusion in the prestigious Young Business Leaders edition of the Who’s Who of Britain’s Business Elite, for the second year running.
“We’ve made a positive start to 2009 with some great client wins including PoundWorld, Carlisle Housing and Mason Land Surveys, ” says Chris. “This reflects the cost-saving benefits that companies can receive from our system. Plus, as the system is leased on a monthly basis, there are no upfront capital costs. This is proving especially attractive to many businesses at the moment, as they are seeing huge returns through fuel savings and increased productivity prior to making any financial outlay.”
“As for Who’s Who, it’s a privilege to be selected again. I see it as recognition for all the hard work the entire team here has put in over the last year. “
Entry into the publication is by selection only according to strict criteria, based on the profiling of financial information, including showing a positive increase in turnover over the last three years. Only the top 2% of directors in the UK, aged 35 or under, are eligible for the Young Business Leaders edition, and Chris is one of them.
Chris formed the company in 2004 with business partner Martin Davies, with the aim of providing an easy-to-use vehicle tracking solution for SMEs. Building on many years of experience, Chris and his team have developed a unique web-based system, which customers have described as ‘incredibly simple to use yet highly effective’.
